Our 3 year old loves having a play space where he can play with his cars, eat his snacks, and keep everything organized. It works very well with our forward facing car seat (not a booster). It is easy to install, then unlatch for his entry and exit. It made a reasonable seal with the car seat to prevent toys from heading to the floorboard and was easy for us to manage.The real value was keeping him from getting frustrated by trying to juggle everything that he wanted to have access to while travelling. The pockets on the sides worked for cups, cars, and trucks. This tray is great for carseats. It is very easy to unfold and strap behind your child. We use ours for both toys on long car rides as well as when we have to eat in the car and cannot stop.Safety wise this is made of flexible material so in the event of an accident it can't possibly do much harm to your child. Some trays are rigid which is a bit concerning. The tray folds up when finished. I use the strap to secure it and can store it in the door pocket of our car. The tray does slope towards your child a bit but that is expected since it is flexible. We have a pretty large carseat it is a Evenflo Triumph and the tray fits around the seat pretty snuggly. My mother-in-law has the Evenflo Momentum, this tray would probably be too small for that seat as it sits much deeper. This is also made of very durable material that is easy to clean. I usually take a wet wipe after eating and wipe up the french fry grease or whatever...
